Welcome to my Practice

Relationship counselling can help to look more deeply into the original hopes of relationships and see how we often become disappointed over time.

A safe and non-judgemental space allows us to take the time to look at these issues and make the changes that lead to clarity and better communication.

I feel it is important to adapt any therapy process to fit the needs of each client.

PHUBBING – A SERIOUS THREAT TO YOUR RELATIONSHIP OR JUST A PART OF MODERN LIFE?

Our relationships with phones are A Thing now, a normal facet of 21st century living. For almost all of us, the smartphone has changed our lives. About Christina

I had an early education and career in art and believe that this creative training and experience enhances my ability as a counsellor to observe much of what can be easily missed or ignored in client relationships. It enables me to offer a different perspective to clients who may be stuck in a particular way of looking at issues in their relationships. I have a particular interest in working with Neurodiversity in clients, particularly OCD and ADHD. As a highly experienced and professionally qualified couple and relationship counsellor I’m very used to working across different cultures, religions and sexual orientations in a quiet and confidential setting. I believe that my empathetic approach is imperative to a good connection with my clients. Therapy is helpful to unpick and recognise the negative conversations and communication problems that impact our everyday lives. By becoming aware of these patterns, we can see which buttons get pressed, and why we can react so acutely to certain behaviours in others. It’s helpful to realise how much of this comes from early experiences  and how it affects our decision-making and our perspectives in relationships. Clients find that positive change occurs with the support of an experienced and well qualified counsellor.
